"Origins"

The four core members of the defunct "OuterLimits" recorded in the year 2007, to bring forth their latest CD titled "Origins", released in November, 2007. Three of the seven compositions recorded on this CD originated from jam sessions. Very similar to the original release by this quartet over a decade ago, the "Origins" CD exhibits a refreshing palette of musical compositions, supported by creative perfomances by the group. "Flying Against The Time Zones" by Tom Alexander

In mid-summer of 1995, Audric played guitar on Tom Alexander's project CD. With an entourage of multi-talented musicians on hand, all contributing their own distinct styles to the individual tracks, "Flying Against The Time Zones" leads you on a creative musical journey that mixes the styles of jazz, new-age and sound-track from around the world. "The Visitor's Magic Message" - Something Old Is Something New!

Because of the numerous requests asking for samples of music performed by Audric Jankauskas back in the "eighties" (a.k.a. the solo album "The Visitor's Magic Message" released in 1983), a compilation has been created from the old original cassette tapes that archives (18) instrumental tunes that were recorded on separate occasions from 1982 up to 1988. More music that dates up to 1988 has been added to the original solo album's playlist, including the award winning track "Sonic Sorcery". Check out the "Visitor's Magic Message" web-page.

What Happened To The OuterLimits?

The Philadelphia based jazz-rock band enjoyed several years of performing to local fans. The members of the band give thanks to the many wonderful people that have supported and inspired them since their debut in 1996. All members are currently working on new musical endeavours. For those that don't have their own copy of the original "OuterLimits", which features the additional talents of the great sax player Rob Roth, don't hesitate to purchase their self-titled CD. The good news is... in 2006 the quartet hooked up for a couple improptu jams that resulted in many musical ideas that were utilized for the new CD called "Origins"!

"Super Hip, Quasi-Interactive, Fusion-Jam-Grooves"

That is the title for the new CD created by Audric Jankauskas for the purposes of training guitarists. This high quality "play-along" CD contains (7) long lasting tracks that can be enjoyed by mid-level to advanced players. The tracks encompass a variety of tempos, rhythms, keys, and modal structures typically found in jazz-rock music.
