The creative force behind Spontageous is guitarist and composer Audric Jankauskas, who has been referred to by Guitar Player magazine as a "very impressive" fusion guitarist. Audric Jankauskas and bassist Rob Lewcun wrote most of the grooved based tunes that integrate sophisticated modes and time signatures with memorable melodic lines in a way that appeals to both the musically advanced as well as the adventuresome listener. Embracing the true essence of fusion, the nine tracks incorporate an array of musical genres, including the funky swing of "It’s About Time", the blues influence of "Rooster’s Blues", the dreamy yet edgey ballad character of "Kindred Spirits", and the quirky groove of "Dag Nab It". Keyboardist Lin Fred and drummer Tom Cottone round out the group's music masterfully.
