The Philadelphia based contemporary jazz-fusion band has released an exciting new CD. Inspired by the quintessential, electric fusion sounds of artists such as Jeff Beck, John Scofield and Scott Henderson, it guarantees a unique musical adventure for fusion enthusiasts and listeners looking to chart new territory.
The creative force behind the band is guitarist and composer Audric Jankauskas, who has been recognized by Guitar Player magazine as a "very impressive" fusion player. The new CD showcases his compositional artistry with groove-based tunes that integrate sophisticated modes and time signatures with memorable melodic lines in a way that appeals to both the musically advanced as well as the adventuresome listener. Embracing the true essence of fusion, the cuts incorporate an array of musical genres, including the funky swing of "It’s About Time", the blues influence of "Rooster’s Blues" and the quirky groove of "Dag Nab It". Collaborating on the CD are bassist Rob Lewcun, drummer Tom Cottone and keyboardist Lin Fred.
